Ram founded PeerIQ to bridge the gap between non-bank lenders and the capital markets. As a former ABS investor, Ram experienced first-hand the need for great data and risk analytics not only to help investors access the new digital lending sector, but also to help lenders truly scale their business by tapping into diverse, low-cost capital sources.
Prior to PeerIQ, Ram was CIO of Winged Foot Capital, where an investment manager focused on investments in structured credit and FinTech. Prior to Winged Foot Capital wan as SVP at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, where he was member of the Cards & Deposits executive management team that was responsible for investment decisioning a $120Bn consumer and small business lending portfolio. Prior to this role, Ram was a Vice President at the Merrill Lynch Global Bank Group.
As a management consultant at Inductis, Ram advised leading banks and card issuers on pricing, risk management, and new product development. Ram has also served as a Google Summer of Code mentor contributing risk management frameworks to the open source community.
Ram received a B.A. in Economics-Philosophy from Columbia University and is a CFA charterholder.
