Mr. Kevin Guo co-founded Dianrong, the leading P2P lending platform, in 2012 with Soul Htite, Dianrong has completed five rounds of financing.

Kevin has become an angel investor since 2008.In 2016, He established Xinghe Hongsheng, the first Chinese fintech investment fund together with Angel Plus to support early stage innovation in fintech.

Prior to co-founding Dianrong, Kevin was the managing partner of Yulan & Partners, a well-known law firm in Shanghai providing legal services to Fortune 500 multinationals, including Siemens, Google, and Microsoft on intellectual property matters. Meanwhile, he advised a number of venture capital funds on Internet finance and investment activities.

On behalf of China, Kevin has become one of the founding members of the Global Blockchain Business Council (“GBBC”) established on January 17, 2017.Kevin has been elected to the president of China Blockchain Research Center(“CBRC”) in Davos on January 23,2018.

Kevin was awarded the honors of “2015 Financial Industry Leader in Shanghai” and “Top 10 Internet Entrepreneurs in Shanghai” jointly by the Xinhua News Agency and the Shanghai Government.

In 2016, he was named “Global Figures of Financial Technology Leaders Top 20” by the People’s Daily. He has been elected to the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference as of 2017 and the Huangpu District Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference as of 2016.

He also serves as a director of the Shanghai Youth Federation, the vice chairman of Huangpu District Youth Federation, the vice chairman of Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce, an entrepreneurial mentor for Top 50 Achievers of China Credit Information Industry, and an adjunct professor of the East China University of Political Science and Law.

He co-authored the book “Internet Finance – Theory, Practice and Regulation” together with the regulatory authorities. Kevin holds the EMBA degree from Tsinghua University, School of Finance and Shanghai Jiaotong University, the Advanced Institute of Finance.
