Benjamin Gleason is a Founder of GuiaBolso, a fintech startup that has built Brazil's leading finance platform, with nearly 4M users and the #1 personal finance app in the AppStore. To transform the financial well-being of Brazilian consumers, GuiaBolso developed proprietary bank account aggregation to organize user’s information in a financial hub that facilitates better decisions and access to the best products in the market. This access to unique financial data in a country with no FICO-equivalent powers a credit marketplace that matches consumers to loan offers from banking partners, with real-time approvals based on the GuiaBolso’s proprietary credit model. The company has raised approximately $65M over 5 funding rounds from investors such as Ribbit, Kaszek, Vostok, QED, IFC (World Bank), and Omidyar. Previously, Ben was Managing Director of Groupon Latam, from the early days of explosive growth through the NASDAQ IPO, and previously was Engagement Manager at McKinsey in Brazil. An American living in Brazil for the last 10 years, Ben is an Economics major and Wharton MBA.
