Tom Brainerd is responsible for overseeing creation, design and implementation of National Funding’s marketing program. Tom is a seasoned management professional with strong business development, corporate strategy and marketing acumen. He brings nearly 40 years of domestic and international marketing experience in both major financial firms and small, privately-held businesses, and has driven the company’s growth with aggressive marketing programs since its early days. He spent his early years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ethiopia, and started his professional career in the advertising industry at Ogilvy & Mather in New York City. Subsequently he moved to financial services, working at Crocker Bank in California, its parent company HSBC in London, then to Citibank and The Associates Corp. of N.A. Combine Tom’s extensive experience in financial services marketing with his philosophy that marketing needs to be linked closely with sales, and you have a perfect fit for a fast-growing fintech like National Funding.

Tom received B.A. from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
