María Ariza García Migoya

María Ariza is CEO of Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA) that was established in 2013 with the aim of growing Mexican stock exchange market. Previously, María was CEO of the Mexican Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital (AMEXCAP), a non-profit association whose mission is to promote the private and entrepreneurial capital industry in Mexico. Previously, María worked in the investment team of NAFTA Mexico Fund, LP, a private equity fund focused on investing in Mexican medium-sized companies with a cross border component; as Director of the Projects Office at Grupo Impulso; and as Manager of Strategic Planning in the APEC Organizing Committee.

Additionally, María Ariza is a founding member of Facial Design S.A. de C.V., board member of Grupo Salus S.A. de C.V.; and board member of Crediauto Financial.

María is also part of the Consejo de Fomento de Investigación y Cultura Superior, A.C., FICSAC; member of the Technical Engineering Council of the Universidad Iberoamericana; board member of CMR A.C.; of the CONACYT Committee and the Women in Investment Teams Committee headed by AMEXCAP. She’s a board member of KL Studio; Andrews Development; Kuru Capital; Lafirma Capital; Desarrolladora Emprendedores, EGADE Business School and BEEL company.

María has a Master's Degree in Administration from Harvard University, where she was nominated for the Dean's List of Academic Achievement Award and is an Industrial Engineer with Academic Excellence from the Universidad Iberoamericana.
