Rob is co-founder and CEO of Fintex Capital (, an institutional investment firm focused exclusively on alternative lending. Fintex Capital was successfully launched in early 2016, when it issued the world's first euro-denominated bonds backed by marketplace loans to institutional investors. Today, Fintex manages several loan portfolios worth in excess of EUR 70 million. To date, Fintex's geographic focus has been on lending platforms in the UK and Continental Europe. In terms of verticals, the firm's focus has been on consumer loans and property loans.

Rob is a sector veteran within alternative lending; his sector involvement began in 2007, when he invested in Auxmoney and became part of its strategy team. At the time, Auxmoney had three founders, two spreadsheets and one big idea. Following his degree in German law, Rob worked for eight years at JPMorgan and JPMorgan Cazenove in investment banking with a focus on M&A and capital markets. He then co-founded Excellion Capital, a successful London-based merchant banking boutique principally specialising in asset management and principal investments.
