Anju Patwardhan is Managing Partner at CreditEase Fintech Investment Fund (CEFIF). The Fund has invested in over 60 fintech companies globally since its inception in mid-2016. CreditEase, established in 2006, is a leading Fintech company in China, specializing in Wealth Management, Asset Management, and Marketplace Lending.

Prior to joining CreditEase, Anju worked in banking for over two decades with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in global and regional leadership roles.

She is a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) fintech steering committee. She was also on the advisory board of Government of Estonia’s e-Residency program. She serves on boards of banks, fintech companies, and non-profit entities. She is on the board of Gulf International Bank in Saudi Arabia, the board of Upgrade Inc. (USA), NED board nominee of PIF (sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia), and on other boards.

Anju was a 2016 Fulbright Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. She has also been a Fellow at Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute (2017 and 2018), Distinguished Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance, Innovation Fellow at National University of Singapore, and Fintech Industry expert at UC Berkeley.

She is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management.
