Sandy Fernandez

Sandy Fernandez is responsible for developing and implementing the MasterCard Center for Inclusive Growth's strategy and programs across the Americas, and ensuring the Center achieves its mission to advance sustainable and equitable economic growth and financial inclusion around the world.

Previously, Sandy held senior roles at financial service institutions where he developed and led national community development efforts and partnerships with economic development, civil rights, policy, and advocacy groups focused on asset building, financial access, and capability. Sandy began his career in the community health field conducting outreach, research, and providing education to immigrant communities on diabetes and cardiovascular health.

Sandy Fernandez currently serves on the national board of Grounded Solutions Network, and on the board of advisors of Veterans in Global Leadership. He holds an M.B.A from New York University, and a B.A. from Boston University.
