Prior to Applied Data Finance, Krishna Gopinathan was the founder-CEO of fintech company Global Analytics. Krishna led Global Analytics to become one of the largest online installment lenders in the U.K under the brand name of Lending Stream. He was also the lead inventor of FICO’s Falcon product, one of the most successful products in the history of the payment system, and the first commercial application of real-time neural networks.

With over 25 years of experience in predictive analytics and data science, Krishna has founded multiple successful data science companies that leverage machine learning and neural networks. He has multiple patents to his name, including his 1998 patent “Risk Determination using Predictive Modeling and Transaction Profiles,” which has been cited by 635 other patents.

Krishna earned an M.Math. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 1988.
