Zander Rafael is the Chief Executive Officer at Climb Credit, a fintech startup he founded in 2014 with the goal of expanding student access to quality education. After graduating from Harvard University with an Undergraduate and Masters Degree in History and Economics, his career began at Bridgewater Associates, where he was chosen to work in the selective group charged with developing the firm’s trading algorithms. Zander also developed hedging strategies for sovereign wealth funds and pensions. He left to join BCG, serving in three offices and working with financial services clients on a range of issues, including federal mortgage policy. Afterwards he started, ran, and successfully sold a SaaS marketing product aimed at small businesses.
