Robert Wardrop

Robert is an economic sociologist, and co-founder and Executive Director of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, an inter-disciplinary research group at the University of Cambridge. He also teaches New Venture Finance and Alternative Finance courses to M.B.A. students at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Prior to academia, he had a 30-year career as an entrepreneur and professional investor.

Robert holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.Sc. in Social and Cognitive Anthropology from the London School of Economics, and is completing a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology at the University of Cambridge.
