John has approximately 28 years of bank regulatory experience including 13 years as a federal banking regulator with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He advises and assists large and complex financial institutions with respect to all aspects of regulatory compliance and risk management and controls. John co-leads Deloitte’s national market strategy for compliance program solutions. During the savings and loan crisis, he served as the Federal Reserve Board’s primary liaison to the Resolution Trust Corporation. He has spoken at major banking conferences on emerging banking risks and related policy issues including the Bank Administration Institute, Institute of International Bankers and California Bankers Association. John also hosts regular compliance officer roundtables involving major financial institutions.

John holds an M.B.A. from the University of Florida’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from its Fischer School of Accounting.
