Gideon Valkin
Co-Founder & CEOFriendlyScore
Gideon and team are redefining creditworthiness in consumer finance by incorporating large online and social media data to the credit-decision process as a complement to traditional bureau data. They offer lenders a way to increase approvals by assessing thin-file borrowers; and offer borrowers a way to validate themselves using private and public online footprints. Previously, Gideon worked at Credit Suisse and Citigroup. He grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and cares about solving financial inclusion problems through digital technology.

Gideon holds an A.B. from Harvard University where he co-captained the Men's Tennis Team and an M.B.A. from Insead in France.
