Conor French

Conor is responsible for US legal and regulatory affairs at Funding Circle, the leading global marketplace for small business loans. Before joining Funding Circle, Conor served as CEO of Indego Africa – an award-winning social enterprise and lifestyle brand that supports artisan women through economic empowerment and education. He began his career practicing law at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he represented public and private companies, investment banks, private equity firms and investors in a wide range of corporate and finance transactions. Conor is a Truman National Security Fellow, serves on the alumni board of NYU Law, the advisory board of Indego Africa and the financial institutions committee of the CA bar, and was recently named a finalist for Bay Area Corporate Counsel of the Year.

Conor received his J.D. from NYU Law and his B.A. from Georgetown. He is admitted to the CA, DC, MA and NY bars.
