Raj is the Chair of the Investment Committee of Fenway Summer Ventures, a Washington DC-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage financial services and fintech opportunities.

As part of his work with Fenway Summer, Raj serves as a Director for a number of innovative firms in financial services, including Prosper, the peer-to-peer lender; Circle, the digital currency firm; FS Card, a mass-market credit card venture; College Ave, a private student lender; and Green Dot, a technology-driven mass market bank. He also co-founded, led as Chairman, and sold a startup mortgage lender, Ethos Lending, and is an early investor in MAXEX, a fast-growing mortgage technology platform.

Raj has held positions as a senior adviser to the Promontory Financial Group, the first-ever Deputy Director of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank Securities, a Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy and Development at Capital One Financial and began his career at McKinsey & Company.

Raj is a graduate of the College of Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley (highest honors) and the Harvard Law School (magna cum laude).
