Armin Krapf is a VP – Senior Credit Officer based in Moody’s Frankfurt office where he is responsible for rating European ABS transactions, primarily analysing securitisations of granular asset portfolios consisting of auto loans, auto lease receivables, and unsecured consumer loans. His responsibilities also extend to analysing ABS backed by more exotic portfolios, for example from factoring companies or marketplace lending platforms. In addition, he has also rated European ABS transactions involving securitised SME loans. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was an Assistant Manager in the Banking & Finance division of KPMG DTG AG.

Armin Krapf studied at the University of Göttingen (Germany) and the Royal Holloway University of London (UK), and holds a Master of Economics – International Management degree from University of Maastricht (the Netherlands).
